REVEREND
DR. MILTON L. HENDRICKS

Reverend
Dr. Milton L. Hendricks is a dynamic leader, as well as a spirit-filled
preacher and teacher.
He firmly believes that no
one person can do everything but each of us should do something because
one person can make a difference.
Rev. Hendricks is the son
of the late John B. Hendricks and Mary E. (Credle) Hendricks. He is
a native of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Rev. Hendricks is a product
of the Atlantic City Public School System and received his secondary
education at the Philadelphia College of Bible, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He received a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Biblical Studies from Carolina University of Theology.
Rev. Hendricks also received
an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College.
Rev. Hendricks has served with honor and distinction
as the Pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Pleasantville, New Jersey for
the past 29 years.
Through the dynamic leadership of Rev. Hendricks,
God has increased Faith Baptist Church numerically, spiritually, and
financially.
During his leadership a new edifice has been built.
God has given Pastor Hendricks a vision for an expansion program to
meet the needs of God’s people which will be completed in the
near future.
Rev. Hendricks served as the President of the
Fellowship of Churches of Atlantic City and Vicinity for twelve years.
He also served as a volunteer with the Minister’s
Home Detention Program and an advisor for Soundra’s Sunrise
Gospel Hour.
He is the immediate past moderator of Bethany
Baptist Association of South Jersey, a member of the General Baptist
Convention of New Jersey, and the National Baptist Convention, USA,
Inc.
Rev. Hendricks also serves as the Executive Assistant
to Reverend Guy Campbell, Jr. 4th Vice President of the National Baptist
Convention, USA, Inc.
Pastor Hendricks is currently serving his seventeenth
year as Chairman of the Pleasantville Housing Authority.
He serves as a member of the Governors Board for
Success by Six Programs, the Minority & Vintage Concerns for All
of Atlantic and Cape May County, the Youth Service Commission of Atlantic
County.
In addition, Rev. Hendricks serves on the Board
of Directors of the Atlantic County United Way.
He served on the Steering Committee for Weed
and Seed of Pleasantville, of which he is still a member.
Rev. Hendricks also serves on the Board of Trustees
for AtlantiCare Behavioral Health and is Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Caring Incorporated.
Rev. Dr. Milton L. Hendricks has been married for the past 35 years
to his former high school classmate, Estelle R. Brown.
They are the proud parents of one daughter Minister
Rayna K. Hendricks.
He and his family were the recipients of the 1997
Family of the Year Award for Community Involvement presented by the
Family Service Association of Atlantic County.
Rev. Hendricks was a Recipient of the 2003 Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award, in recognition of his active involvement
in the community and his dedication to his fellow citizens.
Rev. Hendricks has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors,
among them are:

His life’s motto is “If I can help
somebody as I pass along, then my living shall not be in vain”.
